Paired is looking for a Video Editor to join our content team and create high-impact video content for our career coaching platform. Your work will help bridge the gap between talent and opportunity by producing transformative content that inspires career growth.
What You'll Do
- Produce 1-2 long-form videos per week (10-30 minutes) with cinematic YouTube aesthetics.
- Create engaging short-form content for social media platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Edit client testimonials, coaching session highlights, and educational material.
- Develop compelling thumbnails and visual assets for video content.
- Collaborate with the content team to conceptualize video concepts and storytelling approaches.
- Maintain consistent brand aesthetics and visual identity across all video content.
- Implement creative transitions, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
- Ensure content aligns with our professional yet approachable brand voice.
- Edit raw footage using professional editing software.
- Color grade and audio mix to achieve cinematic quality standards.
- Optimize videos for different platforms and formats.
- Manage video assets, project files, and maintain organized content libraries.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
- Strong understanding of color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
- Experience creating and optimizing content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms.
- Knowledge of various video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
- Strong storytelling skills with attention to pacing and narrative flow.
- Eye for cinematic composition, lighting, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to create engaging content that drives viewer retention.
- Understanding of current social media video trends and best practices.
- Portfolio demonstrating high-quality video editing work, preferably for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
