Responsibilities
- Direct the IT PMO, fostering a top-tier team to support worldwide, cross-functional projects
- Implement and uphold standardized delivery methods, including portfolio management, program governance, agile delivery, capacity planning, financial tracking, risk management, and benefits realization
- Maintain uniformity in large-scale initiatives, such as platform modernization, ERP, data, security, infrastructure, AI, and digital transformation
- Promote excellence in delivery across waterfall, agile, and hybrid execution models
- Collaborate with the Chief Information Officer to convert technology vision, strategy, and priorities into actionable roadmaps
- Assist in leadership meetings, executive reviews, steering committees, and strategic planning sessions
- Facilitate alignment among CIO direct reports, addressing cross-team dependencies and execution risks
- Monitor and follow through on enterprise commitments, decisions, risks, and outcomes
- Manage enterprise IT portfolio, including intake, prioritization, sequencing, capacity planning, and dependency management
- Work with Finance to oversee IT investment governance, budgets, forecasts, and ROI tracking
- Define metrics linked to business outcomes, such as delivery predictability, cost optimization, value realization, and risk reduction
- Create executive-level communications, dashboards, and materials for senior leadership, board, and audit/risk committees
- Ensure technology initiatives are communicated in business terms, highlighting outcomes, value, risk, and tradeoffs
- Assist the CIO in communications with the board, investors, and regulatory bodies as needed
- Develop governance models that balance speed with appropriate controls
- Identify delivery risks, execution gaps, and organizational bottlenecks proactively
- Promote clear accountability while encouraging a culture of trust, ownership, and continuous improvement
- Build and lead a high-performing PMO team with strong program, portfolio, and delivery leaders
- Mentor senior leaders on execution discipline, decision-making, and delivery rigor
- Serve as a model for executive presence, communication, and cross-functional collaboration
