VetPartners is hiring an experienced Veterinary Nurse for our clinic in Albion, QLD. This is a hands-on GP role for a nurse who values professionalism, teamwork, and high clinical standards. You'll work a structured rotating roster, tackling a varied caseload that blends technical nursing with excellent client care.
What You'll Do
- Confidently monitor anaesthesia and act as a patient advocate
- Prepare for surgeries and provide theatre support
- Manage inpatient monitoring and hospital cases
- Collect laboratory samples and run in-house diagnostics
- Maintain exceptional sterility and infection control standards
- Keep accurate and thorough medical records
- Conduct post-operative checks and preventative health consultations
- Provide client education and clear discharge instructions
- Communicate clearly, warmly, and professionally
- Support smooth daily workflow and clinic efficiency
- Coordinate appointments and assist with front-of-house duties
- Contribute positively to team morale and our clinic culture
What We're Looking For
- Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
- Has solid GP experience in a small animal practice
- Is highly confident monitoring anaesthesia
- Demonstrates initiative and strong clinical judgement
- Is organised, reliable, and solutions-focused
- Enjoys both technical nursing and client-facing duties
- Brings positive energy and professionalism to the team
- Confident with practice management software and efficient documentation

- Experience with EzyVet is highly regarded
