Cox Automotive is seeking a Vehicle Photographer I to join our team transforming the automotive industry. In this role, you'll capture and process electronic images of vehicles in a fast-paced auction environment, using company-provided technology to ensure accurate representation for listings and inventory.
What You'll Do
- Capture and process electronic images of vehicles.
- Use a Samsung smartphone and the company-provided imaging application to take, upload, and organize vehicle photos.
- Upload all pictures associated with electronic condition reports (ECR) and verify the quality and accuracy of each photograph.
- Maintain knowledge of the Digital Quality Image (DQI) website.
- Re-image or request re-imaging of any substandard images.
- Process vehicles through the Photo Booth following standard operating procedures (SOPs) if location is so equipped.
- Verify that photos accurately represent the vehicle’s condition for auction listings and inventory records.
- Maintain efficiency while photographing a high volume of vehicles.
- Perform basic quality checks to ensure photos are clear, properly aligned, and complete before submission.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Generally, less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
- Valid driver’s license (safe drivers needed).
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks and manual dexterity.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.

Team & Environment
This is an Individual Contributor role working onsite at a specified Cox location.
Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly base pay rate is $15.10 - $22.69/hour.
- Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
- Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
