Responsibilities
- Support UX design initiatives throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial research to final design deliverables
- Simplify intricate financial processes into clear, user-friendly experiences for business users and end consumers
- Develop user interfaces, interactive prototypes, and conduct usability testing for digital financial platforms
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to balance user needs with business and technical requirements
- Engage in discovery phases to identify challenges and uncover design opportunities
- Explain design decisions with clear reasoning, including user needs, business objectives, and expected results
- Collaborate with Engineering during design and development to assess feasibility, understand limitations, and ensure high-quality implementation
- Take part in agile activities such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews to maintain design integrity
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate design choices and compromises effectively
- Present and justify UX decisions to internal stakeholders
- Utilize and enhance an existing design system to maintain consistency and improve reusable patterns
- Design solutions within product, technical, and regulatory boundaries while prioritizing usability
- Build scalable design systems, reusable components, and detailed prototypes using Figma
- Engage in backlog refinement to support accurate and high-quality development execution
- Leverage AI tools like Claude Code and automation platforms like Make to speed up ideation and prototyping
- Incorporate findings from user testing, usability studies, and research to guide design improvements
- Work with stakeholders to collect qualitative and quantitative data and refine designs iteratively
