About the Role

Twitch is looking for a UX Designer to join the Monetization team. You will work across the full product lifecycle to design thoughtful monetization experiences that balance business goals with creator and viewer trust. In this role, you are expected to lead design work at the project level, partner with senior stakeholders, represent work to leadership, and guide junior designers.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional development team of product managers, engineers, designers, and more.
  • Learn from streamers, viewers, and businesses about how they use our services and their desires to accomplish more.
  • Think creatively about how to solve problems that will sustain streamers’ monetization journey on Twitch.
  • Contribute to the design community at Twitch by using and improving existing patterns and approaches.
  • Combine qualitative and quantitative information to develop hypotheses about customer motivations and use that to improve your designs.
  • Present your work to others by participating in design reviews and feedback sessions.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of practical experience in UX design with an emphasis on content discovery and/or content engagement experiences.
  • Demonstrated interaction design and visual craft skills including experience with prototyping mobile experiences.
  • Demonstrated skills collaborating closely with other designers, researchers, product managers and engineers.
  • An aesthetic sense and the ability to make confident decisions.
  • Demonstrated empathy for the people using your software or products.
  • Expertise with Figma.
  • Experience in E-Commerce/Monetization.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on consumer software products.
  • Experience with AI tooling.
  • Experience executing research plans by talking to real customers.
  • Knowledge of design systems.
  • Formal education in Design, Interaction/UX Design or HCI.

  • Compensation: US, WA, Seattle: $117,800—$160,000 USD; US, CA, San Francisco: $135,500—$184,000 USD; US, NY, New York: $129,600—$176,000 USD; US, CA, Irvine: $117,800—$160,000 USD + equity. Package includes restricted stock units (RSUs).

Work Mode

This is a hybrid position open to candidates in San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Irvine, CA; and New York City, NY.
