Ethos is hiring an US Sales Tax Consultant (100% Remote Work)

DriveWhip is hiring a US Sales Tax Consultant to be the trusted partner for our existing clients. In this 100% remote role, you will manage account changes, provide expert support, and ensure a seamless client experience in handling complex sales tax matters.

What You'll Do

• Manage changes to existing client accounts including annual nexus reviews, new permit applications, permit closure requests, offboarding, tax settings, and new sales channels.
• Support existing clients and their Sale Tax Accountants with issues regarding tax collection settings, new platforms, new permits, permit closures and offboarding.
• Update and test tax collection settings on sales platforms to ensure clients are collecting sales tax correctly.
• Support clients who offboard from TaxValet including managing permit closure information, final billings and paperwork, and removing the client from systems.
• Serve as first contact for existing clients needing support to maximize time for New Client Onboarding Specialists.
• Be the primary point of contact for any billing related changes or issues for all clients.
• Work with the Onboarding Team to identify and implement improvements to project workflow for existing clients.

• Eager to learn new skills and technologies and great at researching complex information.
• Enjoy bringing order and clarity to complex and chaotic situations.

Nice to Have

• Strong preference for experience in tax auditing, tax consultancy or tax advisory.
• Sales tax experience is a plus.
