Flex is hiring an US Operational Excellence Manager

About the Role

Flex is looking for a US Operational Excellence Manager to act as a change agent, driving lean methodology implementation across our Critical Power Sites. You will focus on eliminating waste, reducing process variation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Work as a change agent to drive lean methodology implementation in Critical Power Sites.
  • Eliminate waste and create value by reducing process variation for sustainable results.
  • Utilize Continuous Improvement techniques to initiate process and cost reductions.
  • Drive and share identified Best Practices according to timelines.
  • Create and validate processes based on standard work and Best Practices.
  • Conduct Industrial Engineering, lean, and Six Sigma training.
  • Perform assessments of operations and supply chain to drive gap-closing initiatives.
  • Participate in the selection and execution of lean and Six Sigma projects.
  • Formulate and propose Lean Transformation strategy for assigned projects.
  • Coach and facilitate Lean Transformation activities through workshops.
  • Incentivize participation and training of employees, suppliers, and customers.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • Ability to define projects by collecting data and establishing facts.
  • Skill in guiding projects based on business initiatives and customer needs.
  • Management skills and technical experience in Finance, HR, Materials, and Operations.
  • Expertise in complex situations and multiple functional areas.
  • Comprehension of the strategic impact across sites.
  • Lean Six Sigma expertise.
  • Availability to travel 50%.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.

This role reports to the Director, Business Excellence.

  • Compensation range: $106,800.00 USD - $146,900.00 USD annually.
