Moog is hiring an UK Payroll Specialist

About the Role

Moog is looking for a detail-oriented UK Payroll Specialist to join the Moog UK HR Shared Service team. You will support the professional delivery of a full payroll service for UK sites, working closely with the UK Payroll Manager and site HR teams.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and process full-cycle monthly payrolls using Workday
  • Coordinate data integration between AutoTime and Workday for overtime and travel time
  • Update and monitor the Darwin My Rewards platform for benefits changes and auto-enrolment compliance
  • Reconcile payroll data, prepare HMRC RTI submissions, and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Handle statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SAP, etc.), P45s, and new starter documentation
  • Prepare analytical payroll reports for Finance and HR
  • Upload monthly BACs files and third-party payments using PT-X software
  • Respond to employee queries with professionalism and empathy
  • Participate in project work and contribute to process enhancements
  • Travel to UK sites every 1–2 months to provide on-site support

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' payroll experience
  • Proficiency in Workday, BACs processing, and Time and Attendance systems
  • Strong IT and numerical skills (Excel, Word), with a sharp eye for accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Full driving license
  • Organised, methodical, and comfortable navigating online platforms
  • Commitment to confidentiality, data protection, and Moog’s core values

Nice to Have

  • Payroll experience ideally in a mid-sized business environment
