VB Industries GmbH is looking for a Turnaround Planner/Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of plant shutdowns (turnarounds) for major Europe-wide projects in the oil, petrochemical, chemical, power plant, refinery, and pharmaceutical industries.
What You'll Do
- Create work process descriptions in job folders.
- Handle material recording and determine material requirements.
- Determine lead times per shutdown measure.
- Interpret technical drawings and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Plan corresponding infrastructure measures and ensure work quality.
- Act as the first point of contact, coordinating with relevant specialist departments and subcontractors.
- Create documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accident prevention regulations (UVV).
- Coordinate the overall planning process.
- Conduct performance control according to specifications.
- Monitor cost calculation variances.
What We're Looking For
- Successfully completed apprenticeship in metalworking with further training to master craftsman/technician level, or a comparable qualification.
- Relevant and several years of professional experience in turnaround management.
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in a comparable position in plant construction for the chemical/petrochemical, power plant and refinery, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Solid knowledge of maintenance for process engineering plants.
- Very good skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and flow diagrams (P&ID).
- Leadership experience.
- Solid knowledge in project management, planning, and calculation of inspection, maintenance, and repair work.
- Solid PC user skills (e.g., ROSER, Primavera P6, MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Project).
- Structured work planning and high willingness to perform.
- High team and communication skills, ability to work independently, solution-oriented, and reliably.
- Flexibility, customer orientation, and confident demeanor.
- Good German language skills, spoken and written.
- Willingness for on-site assignments at construction sites in Germany and other European countries.
- Class B driver's license and willingness to travel.
