Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one instruction to high school students with disabilities using Bloom’s provided curriculum (no lesson planning required)
- Coordinate and arrange services, including job shadowing, workplace readiness, and short-term job coaching experiences (especially in summer)
- Communicate with schools, families, and businesses to schedule, arrange, and follow through on student services
- Manage the full service cycle: coordinate schedules, deliver services, and complete required documentation
- Travel within assigned counties (vehicle stipend provided)
Requirements
- Experience working directly with youth with disabilities (in teaching, tutoring, coaching, or related roles)
- Strong organizational and communication skills — able to balance instruction with service coordination
- Dependable, caring, and patient — able to build trust with teenagers and their families
- Reliable transportation and comfort with regional travel
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree (education, human services, psychology, social work, or related field)
