Flock Safety is hiring a Training Specialist to serve as the critical bridge between our technology and the officers who rely on it. You will teach partner agencies how to effectively utilize the Aerodome software, hardware, and Flock Safety Integrations to maximize the potential of Drone as First Responder (DFR) programs.
What You'll Do
- Travel onsite to customer locations and deliver comprehensive training modules.
- Solve the problem of adoption and proficiency for public safety agencies.
- Empower agencies to operate Flock Safety systems with confidence, moving them from installation to operational excellence.
- Lead onsite and remote training sessions for new and existing partner agencies.
- Assist in creating new training modules as software updates and new hardware are released.
- Serve as a primary resource for customer questions regarding operational usage of the Aerodome platform.
- Review current training materials and provide feedback based on public safety training background.
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in Public Safety Training.
- Ability to master and teach complex software and hardware ecosystems, specifically Aerodome and Flock Safety Integrations.
- Exceptional presentation skills to diverse audiences, from command staff to patrol officers, in both remote and onsite environments.
- Willingness to travel onsite to partner agencies as required.
- Active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification or the ability to secure certification within the first 30 days of employment.
Nice to Have
- An aviation background to assist in the technical and regulatory aspects of drone operations.
- Familiarity with the FAA waiver process.
