Uniper is seeking a Trainee in IT for a comprehensive 18-24 month development program. You will start with a six-month foundation in the IT department and then move into flexible rotations aligned with your career path. Two positions are available: one in 'CCO-Platform Engineering', focusing on custom solutions for energy trading, and one in 'IT Architecture & Optimization', supporting development teams with architecture. What You'll Do
- Develop a deep understanding of Uniper's business, its value drivers, and the business environment.
- Learn from experts across departments, network with them, work cross-functionally, contribute your own ideas, and work on your own projects.
- Be part of an active trainee community, receive numerous training and development opportunities, and build a strong network.
- Create your individual deployment plan with support from a personal mentor.
- Depending on your preferred home-unit area in IT, you may support digital solutions, contribute to IT system optimization, and participate in digital transformation initiatives, including IT architecture and agile project management.
What We're Looking For
- A successfully completed degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, business administration with an IT focus, or a comparable field.
- First practical experience through internships and/or working student activities.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing, modern software development, and IT solution architecture.
- Motivation to develop in an international environment, take initiative, and work proactively in diverse teams.
- Good communication skills, ambition, and the ability to network with various stakeholders, combined with analytical skills.
- Very good English language skills.
Nice to Have
- Practical experience with an intercultural dimension.
- First exposure to Machine Learning, Copilot Studio, or Data Engineering.
