Raspberry Pi is looking for a Trade and Compliance Lawyer to provide invaluable insight and expertise in international trade compliance and sanctions for our global technology company. You’ll join a lean, passionate team dedicated to democratising technology and providing affordable access to computing tools worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Provide advisory support regarding sanctions and export controls, licensing risks, and compliance with various global sanctions regimes (UK, EU, UN, US).
- Advise on risk management decisions related to suppliers, customers, and transactions with sanctions and regulatory compliance implications.
- Provide expert advice and training, determine appropriate risk controls, and lead regulatory reporting processes for sanctions and other matters.
- Work collaboratively and communicate with people across the entire business, working closely with commercial and finance teams.
- Take a commercial and pragmatic, risk-based approach when advising the business on legal and commercial risks.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 8 years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
Nice to Have
- Experience working in-house at a UK-listed technology company.
- Broader experience in areas such as IP, competition law, GDPR, and ABC, along with managing governance policy frameworks.
Team & Environment
You will join a small but highly productive legal team and report directly to the General Counsel.
Work Mode
This role follows a hybrid work model based at our Cambridge Science Park office in the UK.
