Transdev is hiring an experienced Tire Technician to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining the safety, efficiency, and longevity of our fleet through tire maintenance, service calls, and vehicle inspections.
What You'll Do
- Perform tire maintenance, fulfill service calls for repair, and conduct visual inspections of vehicles.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe by performing limited repairs with minimal supervision on basic maintenance items.
- Assist with preventative maintenance, safety maintenance inspections, and annual maintenance inspections at prescribed intervals.
- Assist in the performance of mechanical repairs including brakes, suspensions, drive trains, and transmission clutches.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work completed on vehicles including parts and supplies used.
- Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair under direct supervision.
- Evaluate completed work prior to release and seek approval where required.
- Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken.
- Move vehicles safely between job and work area.
- Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary.

- 3+ years of relevant employment history.
