Modine is hiring a Test Technician

Modine is looking for a Test Technician (End of Line Tester) to ensure our products meet all quality and production standards before they leave the manufacturing line. In this role, you will be a key part of our final quality assurance process, directly impacting product reliability.

What You'll Do

• Carry out tests on the full range of Airedale equipment.
• Follow Test Procedures and give feedback for amendments where required.
• Troubleshoot equipment.
• Contribute to risk assessments and health and safety investigations.
• Assist Technical Support with site visits as periodically required.
• Carry out customer end of line witness tests and assist with noise tests.
• Participate in quality investigations and structured problem solving using defined tools and methodologies.
• Undertake all aspects of testing requirements, including Evacuation and Charging, Refrigeration performance testing, Electrical component testing, Mechanical/electrical installations, and Testing design TD at required waterflows and pressure drops.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Computer and report writing skills.
• Capable of working unsupervised and using own initiative.
• Carel Controls knowledge.
• Ability to be flexible and available for overtime, potentially at short notice.
• Good communication skills.
• Proven ability to complete test requirements on time with accurate reporting data.
• Experience liaising with both office and shop floor personnel/departments.
• A track record of achieving project targets on time.
• EPA608 Universal Certification.

Nice to Have

• Refrigeration/HVAC qualification.
• Knowledge of Refrigeration and HVAC product testing.
• Previous test experience.
