NeoGenomics is hiring a Temporary, Billing Reimbursement Specialist II

Responsibilities

  • Process and verify billing reimbursements for various insurance companies.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in billing and reimbursement processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of billing and reimbursement transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement processing.
  • Review and update billing and reimbursement policies and procedures.
  • Generate reports on billing and reimbursement activities for management review.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new billing and reimbursement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in billing and reimbursement.
  • Provide support to the billing and reimbursement team as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries related to billing and reimbursement issues.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners for reimbursement-related matters.
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance billing and reimbursement skills.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the overall billing and reimbursement system.
  • Monitor and analyze reimbursement trends and patterns.
  • Assist in the resolution of complex billing and reimbursement issues.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of billing and reimbursement data.
  • Support the implementation of new billing and reimbursement technologies.
  • Provide input on the development of billing and reimbursement strategies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of billing and reimbursement information.
  • Participate in audits and reviews of billing and reimbursement processes.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and procedures in billing and reimbursement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline reimbursement processes.
  • Provide recommendations for improving billing and reimbursement efficiency.
  • Support the development of billing and reimbursement training materials.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Medicare and Medicaid billing and reimbursement.
  • Familiarity with revenue cycle management processes.
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement policies and procedures.
  • Experience with claims processing and adjudication.
  • Proficiency in using billing and reimbursement software.
  • Ability to interpret and apply healthcare regulations.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement auditing practices.
  • Experience with electronic data interchange (EDI) systems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement coding systems.
