LEGO is looking for a Technical Writer to serve as the vital link between the training organization and the manufacturing workforce at LEGO Manufacturing Virginia. You will ensure that standard work documentation, process instructions, and training materials are accurate, consistent, and easily understood.
What You'll Do
- Create, revise, translate, and maintain Standard Work and technical documentation per LEGO global standards.
- Act as reviewer and approver for official molding division documentation in collaboration with the Training Manager.
- Simplify complex technical workflows into clear, practical guidance for employees.
- Ensure the CHAMP system is consistently updated with accurate documentation and training materials.
- Oversee the maintenance and integrity of CHAMP, implementing new global standards and updates.
- Lead documentation efforts during the introduction of new technologies and equipment.
- Coordinate globally with other Technical Writers to align standards, numbering conventions, and processes.
- Act as an ambassador for Standard Work, promoting continuous improvement and process thinking.
- Partner with trainers to align training materials with work instructions and operational standards.
- Assist in coordinating and delivering training programs, upholding safety and compliance.
- Support translation, uploading, and administration of training content.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and direction for the educational process.
- Contribute to securing the apprentice pipeline by supporting training initiatives.
