Broadsign is hiring a Technical Specialist (Programmatic). This data-centric role places you at the heart of millions of daily transactions, where you will scrutinize constant information flows to solve complex problems. You will apply computer science fundamentals and a deep understanding of data structures to ensure our infrastructure remains robust and drive business efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Respond and resolve escalated technical questions from internal and external clients.
- Deliver an outstanding customer service experience.
- Track and document issues in the case management system.
- Conceive, develop, and maintain internal tools and services for use by the Programmatic Technical Operations team and other teams.
- Maintain and evolve Operations back-end infrastructure.
- Analyze complex technical problems, utilizing queries and scripts to extract information from large datasets across multiple systems.
- Share knowledge by creating internal and external documentation and delivering trainings to colleagues and teams.
What We're Looking For
- A college diploma or university degree in an IT-related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- 2+ years in a Senior/Second-level Support, DataOps, SRE, SysAdmin, or Technical Business Analyst role.
- Impeccable customer service skills with a focus on closing cases with a solution or further education.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think 'outside the box.'
- Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries) and REST APIs.
- Solid understanding of Linux and Database concepts.
- Deep understanding of data structures & algorithms.
- Ability to work remotely in a secluded setting while collaborating virtually.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in other languages.
- Ability to code.
- Experience with cloud solutions and familiarity with HTML/JavaScript.
- Experience in Programmatic Advertising.
