Own and drive execution of technical programs for maritime platforms, aligning engineering teams across hardware, software, and systems integration to meet program milestones and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of technical initiatives for maritime surface vehicles
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules with clear milestones and dependencies
- Coordinate across hardware, software, and systems engineering teams
- Track program risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
- Facilitate technical decision-making across cross-functional groups
- Ensure alignment between engineering progress and customer timelines
- Lead regular program reviews with internal and external stakeholders
- Translate system requirements into actionable engineering tasks
- Monitor technical performance against program baselines
- Drive resolution of cross-team blockers and dependencies
- Support integration and testing of complex maritime systems
- Maintain documentation for program artifacts and decisions
- Work closely with test and operations teams during field deployments
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Interface with customers to understand mission needs and feedback
- Support proposal and business development efforts as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve program execution efficiency
- Manage change control processes for technical scope adjustments
- Support root cause analysis for technical failures or delays
- Ensure consistent application of systems engineering practices
