Role Overview
This hybrid position based in Hyderabad focuses on managing telecommunications vendor relationships, contract compliance, and cost optimization. The analyst ensures accurate service inventories, resolves billing discrepancies, and supports financial integrity across telecom operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee voice and data transitions, including legacy systems such as POTS, DSL, PRI, T1, and MPLS
- Collaborate with a Telecom Expense Management (TEM) vendor to maintain inventory accuracy, conduct audits, and generate performance reports
- Assess vendor performance, manage risk evaluations, and lead periodic vendor review meetings
- Administer vendor contracts, support negotiations, and ensure adherence to legal and business terms
- Track invoices and service changes using Excel and manage updates through vendor portals
- Coordinate with Facilities and Network teams to align telecom services with physical locations
- Analyze billing data against contracts and service records to identify variances
- Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve payment discrepancies and credit issues
- Apply best practices in invoice auditing and telecom expense management processes
- Support internal stakeholders by acting as an extension of their teams for telecom needs
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or have equivalent experience. Two years of customer-facing service experience is required. The ideal candidate demonstrates integrity, accountability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to engage effectively across cultures and organizational levels. Experience with AP workflows, invoice auditing, and contract lifecycle management is necessary. Familiarity with legal documents such as MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs is expected.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and process mapping tools like Visio is required. A solid grasp of telecommunications infrastructure and networking concepts is critical to understanding service flows and connectivity.
Preferred Background
- Professional certification in Telecom Expense Management is a plus
