AIB Personal Banking is hiring a Tech Lead for Salesforce engineering. This role will lead technical design, delivery, and continuous enhancement of Salesforce-based solutions, including nCino, within the strategic Credit domain.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality, secure, and reliable Salesforce solutions across multiple agile squads.
- Lead technical design and implementation on Salesforce and the nCino managed package.
- Mentor and guide the Salesforce engineering team within the Credit domain.
- Improve and enhance engineering standards and development practices.
- Drive DevOps adoption, environment monitoring, and automated delivery models.
- Contribute to code review processes and ensure adherence to standards.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement and improvement of the Salesforce Credit Engineering function.
- Identify new areas where Salesforce can offer benefit to AIB and contribute to expanding the engineering function.
- Roll out AI capabilities and tooling to accelerate delivery and increase team effectiveness.
- Provide technical architectural expertise and direction, ensuring maximum productivity through improved software development practices.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce engineering and architecture.
- Experience delivering Salesforce and nCino solutions at scale.
- Proven experience leading large, diverse teams of engineers, with responsibility for professional and career development.
- A strong focus on non-functional requirements: security, performance, scalability, testability, and sustainability.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills; ability to discuss technical strategy with both technical and non-technical senior audiences.
- Deep knowledge of best practices in application design, build, and system integration on Salesforce, with programming skills across Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
- Relevant Salesforce Certifications, particularly Platform Developer I and Application or System Architect.
- Experience in effort estimation and the ability to challenge estimates.
