Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts (PPLM) is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage the full recruitment cycle for our mission-driven organization. You will source, attract, interview, and help onboard top talent while promoting an inclusive candidate experience and ensuring PPLM has the people power needed to serve our communities.
What You'll Do
- Source and recruit candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and other channels.
- Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and interview candidates to assess qualifications.
- Coordinate interviews and partner with hiring managers throughout the selection process.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles.
- Cultivate relationships with passive talent and industry professionals to expand PPLM’s network.
- Promote PPLM’s culture, values, and opportunities as an employer of choice.
- Support recruitment marketing efforts including job postings, social engagement, and employer branding activities.
- Ensure candidates receive timely communication and a respectful, transparent hiring experience.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR colleagues to provide a smooth and welcoming onboarding process.
- Maintain accurate recruitment data, candidate notes, and hiring metrics in the applicant tracking system.
- Contribute to process improvements and support additional responsibilities as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
- Strong sourcing and networking skills, including experience engaging passive candidates.
- Understanding of recruitment best practices and familiarity with employment-related regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and internal teams.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to PPLM’s mission and values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
- Recruiting experience within healthcare or mission-driven organizations.
- Familiarity with Lever and/or ADP WFN.
