About the Role
The selected candidate will work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, translate them into functional specifications, and ensure timely delivery of technology projects. This role requires strong analytical abilities, clear communication, and experience in managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units to gather and document operational needs
- Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Develop clear and concise functional and technical specifications
- Support system design by providing accurate data and workflow models
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Participate in testing phases to validate system functionality against requirements
- Track project progress and ensure alignment with defined objectives
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and requirements
- Assist in resolving issues during implementation and post-deployment
- Contribute to user training and support materials development
Nice to Have
- Certification in business analysis or related discipline
- Experience with defense or government contracting projects
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and services
- Experience using JIRA or similar project tracking tools
- Understanding of system integration patterns and APIs
- Background in geospatial technologies or data systems
