Sysco Technology GB is seeking 3 Hybrid Cloud Engineers to join the Europe Infrastructure team in a full-time, permanent capacity, reporting to the Infrastructure Operations Team Lead. At a senior technical level, the role focuses on supporting infrastructure solutions across on-premise and public cloud environments for Sysco Europe. The position demands delivering premium support services to internal customers and driving business success. Strong technical expertise and the ability to interact with major vendors and internal clients are essential. This hybrid position is based in the Belfast office, involving work within a multinational company, engaging with teams across multiple locations and regions, with potential travel throughout Europe required. Key Responsibilities Include: - Managing ITSM Queue and adhering to infrastructure incident SLAs - Working across infrastructure technologies like compute, storage, cloud, remote desktop - Implementing and verifying changes through change management processes - Proactively researching, diagnosing, and resolving system issues - Documenting and transferring knowledge to peers and end users - Owning reported issues and ensuring successful resolution - Following escalation procedures for unresolved issues - Remediating vulnerabilities from cyber scanning tools - Contributing to team knowledge base - Mentoring and coaching team members - Monitoring environment processes and functionality - Preparing accurate reports - Participating in project implementations - Maintaining relationships across global regions - Supporting infrastructure service globalization - Participating in on-call support rotations Ideal Candidate Requirements: Extensive experience in Enterprise Infrastructure support and third-line IT support. Strong communication and detail-oriented skills with calm, methodical problem-solving under pressure. Competencies required in cloud platform management (Azure/AWS), ITIL, virtualization platforms, storage management, hardware platform management, and Windows Server administration. Beneficial additional knowledge includes backup strategies, network infrastructure, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity approaches.
