Responsibilities
- Build relationships and collaborate with leading egg producers in Indonesia and Malaysia to assist them in the transition to sustainable farming practices such as cage-free egg production in their facilities.
- Help educate more farms on the sustainability, animal welfare, and economic benefits of cage-free egg production.
- Provide industry updates, facilitate partnerships, and offer resources to assist farms in understanding and advancing this initiative.
- Conduct online research, draft and send emails, make phone calls, and arrange visits and meetings with relevant stakeholders to attract and engage new farms.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to persuade and engage others
- Ability to work highly independently, with a very strong work ethic
- Resiliency — when you are ignored or brushed off, it does not discourage you but rather motivates you to try harder
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
Nice to Have
- Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
- Personal interest in sustainability, animal welfare, or food safety
- Significant sales or sales-style experience is a very strong plus but not required
