Responsibilities
- Use high-precision surveying equipment and modern technology to collect accurate measurements of land boundaries, terrain, and geographic positions.
- Evaluate survey data, maps, and legal records to define property limits and resolve inconsistencies or uncertainties.
- Work with engineers, architects, and design teams to deliver precise spatial data for infrastructure and development initiatives.
- Apply GPS systems, GIS platforms, and specialized software to process, store, and interpret survey information.
- Generate comprehensive survey documentation, including maps, reports, and legal boundary descriptions for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Investigate property records, historical documents, and title deeds to gather critical data for land surveys.
- Follow established surveying standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements during field operations and data analysis.
- Offer expert survey evidence and testimony in legal cases involving land disputes or boundary conflicts.
- Keep current with emerging surveying technologies and methodologies to improve data accuracy and workflow efficiency.
- Perform regular maintenance and calibration of survey instruments to ensure measurement reliability.
- Communicate clearly with clients, team members, and stakeholders to convey survey findings and project updates.
