What You'll Do
Direct and support Assistant Superintendents and Foremen while managing all on-site drywall activities. You’ll be responsible for building and guiding craft teams, maintaining rigorous safety protocols, and upholding quality standards across every phase of the project. As a key field leader, you’ll ensure work aligns with project specifications, local regulations, and company expectations.
You’ll champion a safety-first environment, actively leading injury prevention initiatives and addressing hazards proactively. When challenges arise in production, quality, or safety, you’ll lead resolution efforts with fairness and sound judgment. You’ll also represent field operations professionally, working closely with trade partners and project stakeholders to keep work on track.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction management
- At least 10 years of hands-on field work in drywall or related trades, including roles as journeyman, foreman, or Superintendent
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop field teams
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Experience managing workforce adjustments with professionalism and respect
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and PlanGrid
- Familiarity with local craft labor markets and recruitment practices
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and team collaboration
