Training & Research Foundation is looking for a Substitute Teacher to provide instruction and care for children. In this role, you will create a nurturing environment and implement activities designed to foster comprehensive development.
What You'll Do
- Instruct children in activities designed to promote their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.
- Assist in planning individual and group activities to stimulate learning according to the ages of the children.
What We're Looking For
- 12 semester units or equivalent quarter units in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- CTC Associate Teacher, Teacher, Master Teacher, or Site Supervisor Permit.
- Experience working with children and families.
- Must successfully pass a physical examination and have a current T.B. clearance, pertussis, measles and influenza vaccinations.
- Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certificate.
- Must complete & pass a criminal background clearance through Community Care Licensing (DOJ/FBI/CAI).
- Must possess a CA driver’s license, and evidence of automobile insurance (if applicable).
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $23 to $25 per hour.
