Lead student operations for campus moving and storage services at UCLA and throughout the Los Angeles region. This role puts you in charge of organizing and running critical move-in and move-out periods, giving you direct responsibility for team leadership, logistics coordination, and customer service—all while you're still a student.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and guide teams of student movers throughout the academic year’s busiest transitions
- Oversee daily operations, including loading, transporting, and storing student belongings
- Use an online inventory system to track and manage storage orders
- Drive moving trucks and coordinate with regional partners to ensure smooth execution
- Communicate clearly with students, staff, and external partners during high-pressure periods
- Solve problems quickly when schedules shift or unexpected challenges arise
- Represent the organization on campus and support outreach initiatives
Who You Are
You're currently enrolled at UCLA or another institution in the Los Angeles area and looking to take on meaningful responsibility. You’re comfortable in fast-moving, physical environments and enjoy leading peers toward shared goals. You communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and take ownership of results.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team is a plus
- Experience in logistics, operations, or coordination is helpful but not required
- Familiarity with digital inventory systems is an advantage

Compensation & Work Structure
Compensation is commission-based, with payment for each item transported. Additional incentives include a $200 training bonus, $50 for referring interns, and $25 for customer referrals. All tips go directly to managers and movers.
This is an on-site role based at UCLA and across the Los Angeles region. Availability is required during peak move-out and move-in periods, with flexible options during summer months.
