Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structures, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure.
- Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure structural integrity.

- Review and approve shop drawings and submittals.
- Participate in project meetings and presentations.
- Develop and maintain project documentation and records.
- Conduct quality control and assurance checks on structural designs.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and cost estimates.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior staff.
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and review construction schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate with geotechnical and environmental engineers.
- Ensure that all structural designs are sustainable and environmentally friendly.
- Conduct feasibility studies and preliminary designs.
- Provide technical input for project proposals and bids.
- Ensure that all project activities comply with health and safety regulations.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in multiple structural analysis software tools.
- Knowledge of international building codes and standards.
- Experience with LEED or other green building certifications.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMP.
- Experience with structural dynamics and earthquake engineering.
- Knowledge of advanced structural analysis techniques.
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA).

- Experience with structural optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with BIM collaboration tools.
- Experience with virtual and augmented reality in engineering.
- Knowledge of parametric design and generative design.

- Experience with machine learning and AI in structural engineering.
- Knowledge of blockchain technology in engineering projects.
