Filevine is seeking a Stenographer/Court Reporter based in Texas for a part-time, remote position. In this role, you will utilize digital reporting technology to create precise and official records of court proceedings and depositions.
What You'll Do
- Attend and digitally record legal proceedings, including hearings, trials, and depositions.
- Produce accurate and timely transcripts, ensuring verbatim records.
- Manage and catalog digital audio/video evidence and exhibits.
- Verify the quality and accuracy of recorded content throughout the proceedings.
What We're Looking For
- Texas certification or license as a Certified Court Reporter (CCR) or Registered Professional Reporter (RPR).
- Proven experience performing digital court reporting in a professional legal environment.
- Proficiency with digital audio/video recording hardware and related software.
- Strong command of legal terminology and courtroom/deposition procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free transcripts.
Work Mode
This is a remote, part-time position. Candidates must be physically located in the state of Texas to be eligible.
