Rho is looking for a Statistical Programmer II to join our team in Poland. You will be responsible for converting data from specifications and statements of problems into computer code, consulting to gather requirements, and ensuring program functionality aligns with scientific standards. What You'll Do
- Design or write program specifications based on consultations with supervisors, systems analysts, other programmers, and end users.
- Convert designs and specifications into computer code.
- Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs.
- Write and maintain documentation of changes to computer code, programs, and specifications.
- Review user and technical documentation written by others to confirm consistency with program operations.
- Revise programs for corrections, enhancements, or system environment changes.
- Coordinate with other programmers about program revisions.
- Modify and maintain software programs written by others.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS in computer science, statistics, or a related field.
- Up to 2 years of professional experience programming in the SAS language.
- Strong SAS/Base knowledge with an emphasis on data step programming.
- Competency in understanding and modifying pre-existing SAS code, as well as writing SAS code from specifications.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a deep understanding of high-quality scientific standards.
- High-character, contributing to a collaborative culture with honesty, integrity, loyalty, accountability, and mutual trust.
- Critical thinking and native ingenuity to craft novel, practical solutions.
- Agile and adaptable, able to anticipate, respond to, and take advantage of changes in the environment.
