About the Role
This role involves providing applied behavior analysis services to pediatric clients in home and community settings, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and training caregivers, all within a structured clinical framework.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder
- Conduct initial behavioral assessments and ongoing progress evaluations
- Design and implement behavior intervention plans based on client needs
- Train parents and caregivers in behavior management techniques
- Supervise registered behavior technicians during therapy sessions
- Document client progress and update treatment plans regularly
- Collaborate with clinical team members on case reviews
- Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards set by the BACB
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
- Coordinate care with families and external providers
- Use data to monitor and adjust treatment strategies
- Support onboarding and training of new clinical staff
- Adhere to state and organizational regulations
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to client and family feedback professionally
- Manage caseload efficiently and prioritize client needs
- Conduct sessions in homes and community locations
- Communicate clinical findings clearly to non-specialists
- Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards
