Jobgether is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in developing and scaling advanced data applications that power analytics and observability solutions. You'll work on high-performance, reliable services that enable clients to derive actionable insights from large-scale datasets.

What You'll Do

Design, implement, and maintain microservices and backend components using modern Java technologies.
Lead the development of major features, coordinating across backend, frontend, and product teams.
Build and maintain state-of-the-art functionality in Apache Druid and related systems.
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver initiatives on time and at high quality.
Participate in on-call rotations to address production issues and ensure system reliability.
Contribute to architectural decisions, technical best practices, and code reviews.
Support continuous improvement efforts, knowledge sharing, and mentoring within the engineering team.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience building and maintaining scalable, reliable backend services in Java or similar languages.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud providers such as AWS.
Proficiency with relational and/or OLAP databases.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern software development practices.
Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate across teams and with stakeholders.
