Watershed is a mission-oriented startup seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Product focused on delivering outcomes for our Financial Institution customers. You will partner with product, design, and customer teams to define the technical roadmap, build high-leverage platform additions, and help make Watershed a productive place for engineers.

What You'll Do

Partner with Product, Design and Customer teams to define technical roadmap balancing time to market with codebase stewardship.
Be a great customer to platform teams to leverage existing capabilities and educate them on Financial customer needs.
Build high leverage additions to the platform to bring value to our Financial Institution customer segment.
Partner with other engineering leadership to make Watershed a productive, innovative and impactful place for engineers.

What We're Looking For

8+ years of engineering experience.
Experience building user facing applications considering usability, performance and scale.
A systems thinker; able to grok the big picture, identify the load bearing challenges and help others focus on what matters most.
Experience leading high performing engineering teams.

Nice to Have

Some experience with the financial domain.
