Responsibilities
- Architect and implement distributed systems that handle large-scale data processing
- Own the reliability and performance of core platform services
- Lead cross-team technical projects with measurable impact
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices in software design
- Improve observability and monitoring across production systems
- Design APIs and internal tools used by multiple engineering teams
- Optimize infrastructure for cost efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical roadmaps
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across multiple services
- Drive adoption of secure and reliable deployment practices
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies into the platform stack
- Ensure systems meet uptime and latency requirements
- Contribute to disaster recovery and incident response planning
- Refactor legacy systems to improve maintainability
- Support platform evolution to meet growing customer demands
- Participate in code reviews and system design discussions
- Define and track key platform health metrics
- Work closely with data engineering and security teams
- Improve developer tooling and internal workflows
- Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field
- Experience with Kubernetes and service mesh technologies
