Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements
- Drive technical decisions with a focus on system reliability and performance
- Mentor junior engineers and support career growth across the team
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve development workflows
- Ensure code quality through peer reviews and testing standards
- Participate in architectural planning for long-term system scalability
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues efficiently
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Promote engineering best practices across the organization
- Work closely with product managers to align technical delivery with business goals
- Lead initiatives to improve deployment speed and system observability
- Optimize infrastructure for cost-efficiency and reliability
- Support incident response and post-mortem analysis processes
- Advocate for security and compliance in all development phases
- Refactor legacy systems to improve maintainability
- Develop automation tools to streamline engineering operations
- Contribute to roadmap planning for engineering projects
- Ensure alignment with data privacy and regulatory standards
- Foster a culture of innovation and technical accountability
