Responsibilities
- Act as a principal technical authority for full stack and cloud-native development initiatives.
- Define and guide architectural direction and long-term technical planning for enterprise systems.
- Develop and advocate for consistent engineering standards, design patterns, and coding practices.
- Support teams in technical evaluations, design reviews, code quality, and solution planning.
- Assess new technologies and tools to enhance development efficiency and system capabilities.
- Build, test, and maintain full stack applications, APIs, and integrated enterprise solutions.
- Create responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using current frameworks and tools.
- Engineer scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-based integrations.
- Lead efforts to modernize outdated systems and transition workloads to cloud environments.
- Enhance system performance, reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- Advance cloud engineering practices using Microsoft Azure and cloud-native platforms.
- Design and manage CI/CD workflows, automated deployments, and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Bicep.
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to strengthen deployment automation and monitoring.
- Support platform engineering to improve system resilience and developer efficiency.
- Drive containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Advocate for secure coding and contribute to a strong Secure Software Development Lifecycle.
- Lead early-stage security practices such as code scanning, dependency checks, and vulnerability fixes.
- Work with security teams to address risks in applications and infrastructure.
- Promote automated testing, observability, and quality assurance across the development lifecycle.
- Mentor engineers in architecture, coding standards, DevOps, and cloud technologies.
- Partner with product, business, and technical teams to turn requirements into technical designs.
- Explain complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Align engineering projects with business strategy in collaboration with leadership.
- Cultivate a culture centered on innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.

Hybrid — 46 offices nationwide
