Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of local and cloud-based development setups, including container management, dependency setup, live code updates, and streamlined startup commands
- Optimize initialization speed for new development environments and maintain performance as code scales
- Create and enforce environment isolation strategies using sandboxes, short-lived instances, and namespace controls to enable safe experimentation
- Develop and sustain local pre-commit checks that surface errors before code reaches continuous integration pipelines
- Collaborate with infrastructure, platform, and tooling groups to refine code repository structure and service layout for rapid development cycles
- Lead technical initiatives across teams by collecting input, aligning stakeholders, and promoting solutions that improve developer experience company-wide
