Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Crossplane, Terraform, and Helm to automate cloud resource provisioning.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and security teams to establish platform needs, boundaries, and priorities.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and QA teams to refine software delivery pipelines and support reliable releases.
- Oversee, diagnose, and enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of DevOps platforms to maintain performance and uptime.
- Create strategies for maintaining Kubernetes clusters and cloud infrastructure with no service interruption.
- Analyze emerging technologies and suggest improvements to tools, practices, and workflows in the DevOps space.
- Guide and support early-career platform engineers through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
- Amplify team effectiveness by advising on platform integration, optimal tools, and engineering best practices.
- Coordinate with security specialists to embed security measures into infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Record system designs, configurations, and operational procedures to support transparency and consistency.
- Promote a culture rooted in innovation, teamwork, and ongoing technical advancement across engineering groups.
- Reduce manual effort by automating repetitive tasks using modern solutions, including AI-driven and agentic systems.
