FanDuel is hiring a Staff Engineer

FanDuel is looking for a Staff Engineer to join our Endpoint Platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of secure, large-scale mobile device management and Unified Endpoint Management solutions across our enterprise environment.

What You'll Do

• Define endpoint engineering principles, reference architectures, and reusable configuration patterns.
• Establish secure-by-default device baselines across all platforms, including macOS, iOS, Android, and Windows.
• Implement GitOps-driven endpoint configuration management.
• Build CI/CD validation pipelines for endpoint policies and configurations.
• Develop API-based integrations across identity, asset management, security tooling, and compliance systems.
• Architect zero-touch, globally scalable device provisioning.
• Create self-service application delivery models.
• Optimize device onboarding experience with measurable SLOs.
• Define KPIs for provisioning speed, compliance drift, patch latency, and device trust posture.
• Use telemetry and automation to continuously improve endpoint experience and security.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience architecting, designing, deploying, and managing large-scale Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) and enterprise MDM platforms.
• Strong automation and platform engineering expertise.
• Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, Python, and hands-on scripting.
• Implementation with Infrastructure-as-Code, GitOps, and configuration-as-code workflows in production using Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of endpoint and mobile security ecosystems, including iOS, Android, macOS and Windows security frameworks, MAM, MCM, and MTD solutions.
• Expertise with encryption, VPN, endpoint protection, and IAM (SAML, OAuth).
• Strong API integration experience across identity (e.g., Okta), IAM, and broader security systems.
• Experience with data governance, privacy, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence, including defining, tracking, and improving measurable operational KPIs.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers and drive cross-functional initiatives across multiple departments.
• Capacity to operate effectively in fast-paced environments and participate in on-call rotations and occasional after-hours support.

• Compensation range: $146,000-$182,000 USD
