Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction of infrastructure architecture spanning hybrid cloud environments including public cloud providers and on-premises data centers.
- Design and enhance Kubernetes-based platforms to support multi-region deployment with high availability and cost optimization.
- Implement and enforce Infrastructure as Code practices and GitOps workflows across all stages of the development lifecycle.
- Develop and expand observability solutions covering metrics, logs, and distributed tracing to enable proactive system monitoring.
- Drive initiatives to meet or exceed service level objectives, SLAs, and error budget thresholds.
- Manage and refine incident response procedures, including root cause analysis and implementation of long-term corrective actions.
- Develop automation frameworks for infrastructure provisioning, scaling, patch management, and routine operational tasks.
- Promote and enforce security standards, regulatory compliance, and system hardening in alignment with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and CIS guidelines.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to enhance developer productivity and streamline platform interactions.
- Provide technical mentorship and leadership across DevOps functions and infrastructure engineering teams.
