Vanta is hiring its first Staff Content Designer, a culture-defining role responsible for scaling customer centricity and content design capabilities across the company. You will drive strategic insights, improve our content design practices, and enable teams to build deeper empathy.

What You'll Do

Establish scalable programs and systems that deliver customer insights and enable teams to engage directly with customers.
Lead strategic initiatives that inform product strategy and deliver substantial customer value impacting multiple departments.
Enhance the influence of the Design organization by sharing insights, leading workshops, and improving how we center the customer.
Mentor designers and product managers to gather better customer insights and provide feedback on content and processes.
Develop scalable systems, coaching programs, and rituals to embed content design into our everyday work.
Lead strategic initiatives that inform how our AI and Self Serve products shape the platform.
Help scale our nascent content design capabilities, advising on team growth and delegation of work.

What We're Looking For

8-10+ years of experience at B2B SaaS products on large-scale projects.
Demonstrated track record of maintaining high executional quality and organizational impact.
Independent in driving discovery processes and leveraging customer insights to inform product strategy.
Skilled in leading the discovery process from ambiguity through execution to actionable insights.
Strong ability to mentor and influence others, including senior and executive management teams.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating design concepts to diverse audiences.
Proficient in managing complex projects, timelines, and proactive escalation handling.
Case studies required, showcasing your impact across 2-3 content design projects.
Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work, demonstrating curiosity and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly.

Nice to Have

Experience in GRC or security.

This role is part of the Experience Design Organization and reports to a Design Director within that team.

Work Mode
