About the Role

KIND is hiring a Staff Attorney - Released to join our Global Legal Representation, Assistance, and Litigation programs. You will focus on providing legal services to released clients, ensuring they receive the support and advocacy they need.

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct legal representation to released clients across KIND's programs.
  • Advocate for clients within the legal system to secure their rights and status.
  • Manage a caseload involving complex immigration and legal matters.
  • Collaborate within KIND's global programs to ensure comprehensive support.

What We're Looking For

  • Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in good standing.
  • Demonstrated experience in legal representation, preferably in immigration law or related fields.
  • Strong case management skills and ability to handle a significant caseload.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy abilities.
  • Commitment to KIND's mission of providing high-quality legal assistance.

Work Mode

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Northern Virginia. The role requires on-site presence for part of the week with flexibility for remote work.
