Responsibilities
- Develop mixed-signal CMOS circuits spanning concept definition through production release.
- Model analog components using Matlab, Verilog-A, and SystemVerilog for system-level analysis.
- Simulate and validate circuit behavior and functionality using Spectre and Maestro tools.
- Perform chip-level simulation and verification using both analog-on-top and digital-on-top approaches.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with at least 5 years of IC development experience.
- PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 7 or more years of proven IC design experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in CMOS analog circuit design and physical layout.
- Strong analytical abilities in s-domain and z-domain circuit analysis.
- Solid experience with modeling and simulation tools including Matlab, Verilog-A, and SystemVerilog.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Results-driven and adaptable in fast-paced, evolving technical environments.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with discrete-time and continuous-time signal processing techniques.
- Experience in creating system-level and behavioral models for mixed-signal circuits.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior design engineers.
- Strong silicon debug capabilities and hands-on lab validation experience.
- Knowledge of analog layout principles and their impact on circuit performance.
- Understanding of reliability considerations in analog IC design.
- Experience designing across multiple CMOS processes and technology nodes.
