Granicus is looking for a Senior Web Developer to join our global team. You will build and maintain high-quality web solutions that serve our government and citizen users, leveraging your expertise to drive technical excellence.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor other developers.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development.
- Proficiency in modern front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Strong experience with at least one major back-end framework.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote, global environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with government technology or civic tech platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in a distributed, asynchronous team.
Work Mode
This is a global remote position specifically for candidates located in Costa Rica.
