Alkami Technology, Inc. is hiring a Sr Technical Implementation Engineer to lead high-stakes B2B conversion projects. You will leverage core banking APIs to integrate our digital banking solutions with client systems and third-party vendors, applying advanced technical knowledge to independently resolve complex issues while mentoring junior engineers.

What You'll Do

Provide technical leadership as the go-to resource for product implementation and support.
Act as a subject matter expert for configuring a significant portion of the Alkami platform.
Lead complex B2B core banking integrations and data conversions.
Integrate Alkami products with third-party vendor systems by designing and executing configuration activities.
Configure and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to Alkami Digital Banking Products.
Identify and resolve technical challenges by recommending process improvements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders by providing guidance on technical requirements.
Mentor junior engineers through coaching, feedback, and knowledge-sharing.
Serve as a subject matter expert on technical implementation methodologies and tools.
Independently resolve high-level technical problems, escalating only critical issues.
Contribute to company initiatives supporting automation, scalability, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

Proficiency with programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
5-7 years of related technical experience in Fintech, Banking, or SaaS.
Experience with relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres) around data conversions, with SQL Server as the primary.
Strong ability to resolve complex technical problems independently.
Proven experience collaborating with clients, third-party vendors, and internal technical resources.
Excellent communication skills with consultative engagement for technical and business stakeholders.
Expert-level data manipulation and conversion skills, with SQL as the high bar requirement.

Nice to Have

Experience with 'always on' systems focused on scalability and high availability.
Knowledge of Remote Deposit Capture (RDC).
Background in financial or SaaS-based product implementations.
Ability to recommend new technologies or processes to improve efficiency.
Exposure to project management and tracking systems (JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.).
