About the Role

The role involves leading test operations for vehicle systems, identifying issues through structured validation, and working cross-functionally to integrate solutions into production-ready platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive test plans for autonomous driving systems
  • Conduct vehicle-level testing in diverse environments and conditions
  • Analyze test data to identify system anomalies and performance trends
  • Collaborate with software and hardware teams to resolve defects
  • Maintain detailed records of test procedures and outcomes
  • Ensure testing aligns with safety and regulatory standards
  • Execute both manual and automated test scenarios
  • Support root cause analysis for system-level failures
  • Validate over-the-air update functionality in vehicle fleets
  • Work with simulation tools to replicate real-world driving scenarios
  • Evaluate sensor performance including lidar, radar, and camera systems
  • Monitor vehicle behavior during edge-case situations
  • Document test results and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Improve test efficiency through process optimization
  • Participate in pre-test planning and post-test review sessions
  • Ensure test vehicles are properly configured and maintained
  • Assist in developing test automation frameworks
  • Support field testing across multiple geographic regions
  • Track and report on key testing metrics
  • Contribute to safety case documentation

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in engineering or related field
  • Experience testing autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicles
  • Familiarity with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages
