Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans for autonomous driving systems
- Conduct vehicle-level testing in diverse environments and conditions
- Analyze test data to identify system anomalies and performance trends
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to resolve defects
- Maintain detailed records of test procedures and outcomes
- Ensure testing aligns with safety and regulatory standards
- Execute both manual and automated test scenarios
- Support root cause analysis for system-level failures
- Validate over-the-air update functionality in vehicle fleets
- Work with simulation tools to replicate real-world driving scenarios
- Evaluate sensor performance including lidar, radar, and camera systems
- Monitor vehicle behavior during edge-case situations
- Document test results and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Improve test efficiency through process optimization
- Participate in pre-test planning and post-test review sessions
- Ensure test vehicles are properly configured and maintained
- Assist in developing test automation frameworks
- Support field testing across multiple geographic regions
- Track and report on key testing metrics
- Contribute to safety case documentation
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in engineering or related field
- Experience testing autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicles
- Familiarity with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines in testing workflows
- Background in robotics or control systems
- Exposure to cloud-based data analysis platforms
- Understanding of machine learning applications in perception systems
