Responsibilities
- Lead the modernization and scaling of GitHub Enterprise infrastructure with an emphasis on platform advancements.
- Design and deploy configuration-as-code systems using tools like Terraform to manage organizations, repositories, access controls, and policies.
- Manage and enhance the performance and stability of the GitHub Enterprise environment for all engineering groups.
- Assess and integrate AI-driven development features such as GitHub Copilot and Agent HQ to improve coding efficiency and software quality.
- Define and promote standardized practices for source control, including repository layout, branching models, and workflow implementation.
- Work with security, compliance, and engineering units to create automated governance policies for the GitHub platform.
- Join a rotating on-call schedule to support build and deployment pipelines.
- Deliver technical expertise, documentation, and training to enable effective use of new GitHub tools and processes.
- Continuously monitor and refine the source control platform’s performance, reliability, and user experience using organizational feedback.
